£500 Holiday Cashback Giveaway From NatWest

If there’s one thing people don’t like about holidays, it’s paying for them. With this in mind, NatWest is offering all holiday makers the chance to come home to £500 as part of a nationwide prize draw launched this week.

A total of 20 £500 cash prizes are up for grabs in the random draw. To be in with a chance simply order foreign currency, travellers cheques or a Travellers Cheque Card through NatWest. All entries for the draw must be received before 14th June 2006.

To further kickstart the holiday season NatWest is also offering commission free currency and travellers cheques until 31 May 2006. Commission free currency and travellers cheques are normally only available to Advantage Gold and Advantage Premier, Student and Graduate account holders.

Rates of exchange, location and quality of service have been cited as key factors when deciding where to purchase travel money, with bank branches coming out top.

Notes to editors:

  • The £500 prize draw is open to customers and non-customers who are UK residents. Terms and conditions apply however no purchase is necessary
  • Customers will receive an entry form for the prize draw to complete and return by 14th June 2006. Entry forms are issued with any foreign currency, travellers cheque or Travellers Cheque Card through NatWest
  • Research into currency ordering was carried out by TNS in 2005. A representative sample of 1,016 British adults were interviewed.
  • To order foreign currency or travellers cheques at NatWest, you don’t need to hold an account. NatWest Advantage Gold and Premier, Student and Graduate customers are entitled commission free currency throughout the year
  • Currency can be ordered at any one of our 1,631 branches, where orders are placed before 2pm on a weekday they can be collected from the branch after 1pm the following day
  • Registered customers of NatWest Telephone Banking can order currency by calling 0845 600 2803 (textphone 0845 900 5961)
  • Larger branches with a Bureau de Change can immediately supply American Express Travellers Cheques in sterling, US dollar and euro along with most major currency notes
  • Those ordering NatWest American Express Travellers Cheques also have the added peace of mind of a free 24-hour, 365 day a year refund service should they lose or have their cheques stolen
  • Currency is available on-demand in pre-packed quantities of €100, €500 and US$200 in 680 NatWest locations.
