We’ve partnered with Google Garage to offer this great free course. It will build your understanding of the basics of coding. Its video based and takes around 1 hour to compete. You’ll also get a certificate for completing the course from Google.
To access this course, you’ll need to sign into your Google Account. If you don’t have a Google Account, it’s easy to set one up using your email.
Code powers so much of what we do online, both for work and play. Even if you’re not interested in coding, it’s good to get an idea of what powers so much of our lives. During the course you'll learn what code is, why so many coding languages exist. You’ll learn why having a basic understanding of code could be beneficial for you.
Many jobs today exist around the world of coding. This could be working with developers who write the code. Or managing a project that involves coding. Or even writing the code itself to power a website or app.
