Carla Floyd leads the Debt & Financing Solutions team within our Commercial & Institutional business. The team originates flow products, such as loans, bonds, private placements, hybrid and liability management, asset-based lending, rates and sustainable finance solutions to corporate and insurance customers. Debt & Financing Solutions also provides ratings, debt and ESG advisory to corporate customers and delivers structured financing for Mid-Market customers. This diverse team plays a critical role in supporting NatWest customers, working in partnership with coverage and product teams across the Group to deliver content-led solutions and building longstanding relationships.

Nick Pedersen

Global Head of Digital

Nick, Managing Director, Head of Digital, is responsible for digital product and platform sales and development across the investment bank. Nick has been with NatWest for 6 years, having joined after running the payments and fintech division within the technology company Equiniti Group. Prior, Nick spent almost a decade at Citigroup in FX sales and is a regular speaker at financial technology events on the topic of the digitisation of investment banking and transaction banking products and services. Nick holds a BSc in Political Science from the University of Bristol and an MBA from the University of Oxford.

Tom Underwood

Head of Machine Learning Quantitative Analytics

Tom has been with NatWest for over 12 years and is Head of Machine Learning Quantitative Analytics. He is also part of the FX Options Quantitative Analytics team and has developed tools and analytics for use by a range of the bank's clients as well as our sales and trading teams. Tom is currently working on increasing the level of automation used in trading and risk management and experimenting with how the latest breakthroughs in AI can further improve the service we provide to clients.

Jonathan Horrocks

Head of FX Options Quantitative Analytics

Jonathan has been at NatWest for almost 20 years. He was in charge of quant development for the Quant Solutions team before joining the FC Options team to head the Analytics team. He is now head of the FX Options team and is keen to develop and improve the excellent suite of analytics tools that we have to make them even more useful to our corporate customers and sales team. He is also responsible for the development of ESG related quant analytics.

Andrew Blincoe

Head of Corporate Banking and Structured Finance 

“FOMO: Are treasurers missing a trick?”

Andrew runs our Corporate Banking & Structured Finance business, which is responsible for managing large corporates & institutions and is a centre of excellence for products including transaction services, rates and specialist financing including infrastructure, project finance, asset finance and leveraged finance. He previously ran Structured Finance and has more than 15 years’ experience in the infrastructure and structured debt market, first as a lawyer at Allen and Overy and with Natwest since 2007. Andrew grew up on a farm and is married with 3 children. In his spare time, he is a Norwich City season ticket holder, a keen cricket player and supporter and is a supporter of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
