Bill has worked in the financial industry for most of his life. He has had a number of trading roles, starting in Paris in 1979 and then moving to New York, Tokyo, Singapore and finally London. Bill left the financial industry in 2010, where he went to write software for 8 years. He then returned to finance in 2018, joining the Bank to work on the Digital and Climate business.
