Joann Spadigam

European Rates Strategist

Joann is part of the European Rates Strategy team at NatWest Markets.

She contributes regularly to the desk’s serial publications and ad-hoc research notes, with a focus on general European macroeconomic themes and analysis.

Education

Joann graduated from University College London in 2016 completing an MSc and BSc in Economics.

Previous experience

Joann joined the European Rates Strategy team in 2022. Prior to her current role, she worked at the Bank of England in the Markets area, focusing on cross-market themes in rates, equities and FX. She also spent time in the Bank of England’s prudential policy area on market and counterparty credit risk.
