Climate & ESG Capital Markets Analyst

Karim supports the Climate & ESG Capital Markets Corporates team with the origination and execution of sustainability-related financing transactions, as well as with the development of sustainable finance frameworks and strategies for corporate clients.

He previously Interned at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy in The Hague and the European Policy Research Centre in Glasgow where he analysed European financial instruments. For his master’s thesis he conducted a quantitative analysis of the effect of ESG ratings on the cost of capital for firms in Europe.

Karim has an MSc in Finance from the University of St Andrews, and BA (Hons) in Finance from the University of Dundee.
