Prior to NatWest Markets, Michaela worked at Redington as an Investment Consultant advising both defined benefit pension scheme clients (£2-25bn in size) and also corporates, on a range of strategic asset allocation, governance and responsible investment challenges.
In 2016, she took a sabbatical to lead a charity water & sanitation construction project in rural Nepal, building infrastructure to facilitate a sustainable clean drinking water source.
Michaela began her career at Deutsche Bank having experience across a number of private side roles. She worked in the European Pension Fund Coverage team, with a specialism in longevity swaps. She also worked in Debt Capital Markets aiding blue-chip UK & Irish Corporates with their financing and risk management needs, and the US Private Placement team.
