Aastha is part of the European Economics team at NatWest Markets. After three years at NatWest India, Aastha joined the London office in 2022. Aastha has extensive experience in economic forecasting and macroeconomic analysis. She contributes regularly to the Strategy Desk’s serial publications and ad-hoc research notes, with a focus on European macroeconomic themes and analysis. She also writes monthly updates on global trade and supply-chain developments. Aastha has about 10 years of experience in macroeconomic research. Prior to NatWest, Aastha worked with an India-based government economic think-tank and infrastructure research organisation. Aastha graduated with a Bachelors in Economics (Honours) from University of Delhi. She also holds a Masters in Economics from Dr B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi, India.
