Peiqian pays close attention to China’s economic fundamentals, market structure and politics. Prior to joining NatWest Markets, She was the Asia Strategist at SEB in a similar role. Peiqian started her career at Commerzbank where she was an Asia Economist with a focus on China. 

Peiqian is based in Singapore, and she is fluent is Mandarin, English and Japanese. She holds an honours degree in Economics from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. 

Peiqian joined the bank in August 2017.
