Cash collected by courier
Coins, notes and cheques can be collected by a courier of your choice from your business. This can be paid into your account with Direct Cash In or Consolidated Cash (restricted to approved couriers only). Contact your relationship manager to discuss your needs.

- Select the search icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
- Select the service 'cash and valuables in transit'.
- Add in your post code and select search.
- A list of couriers available to you will be shown.
Pay in between £500 and £10k
Use our Business Quick Deposit (BQD) service to pay in cash and cheques. You won’t need to queue at the counter, or wait for your deposit to be checked.
Pay your cash into an on site safe
Intelligent Safe is a service that offers an end-to-end cash management solution to deposit cash on site. The funds will be added to your account the same day.
Paying cash into a Branch
- Daily conversion rates apply when you pay cash into a business currency account of a different currency e.g. Euros into a US Dollar account
- If you are paying cash into a sterling business account the Branch will advise you of the daily rates when you make your deposit

Daily conversion rates
- Daily conversion rates apply when you pay cash into your business currency account or your sterling business account in a different currency e.g. Euros into a US Dollar account or Euros into a sterling business account
- The rate will be applied on the day the cash is counted by our third-party supplier
- The charges below will apply for all cash deposited into your business currency account or your sterling business account (unless otherwise agreed with your relationship manager)

Cash delivered by courier
Our Direct Cash Out and Bulk Cash Out services can help if you need to take out large volumes of cash. We deliver cash to your business using a secure courier company of your choice.

Pre-order change for collection
Use our online form to pre-order your business change for collection. You can do this up to 7 days before you need it. You’ll be able to pick it up from one of our branches on the day of your choice.
Business cash card*
- Freedom to manage your cash. Nominated staff members can withdraw and deposit^ business funds in a way that suits your business.
- Easy access. Make cash and cheque deposits, as well as cash withdrawals at NatWest branches, ATMs and Post Office.
- Control your cards. Set withdrawal limits, update the card status in real-time and get full visibility of every withdrawal and deposit from our online portal.
- If you're interested in the Business Cash Card, register your interest and we will let you know when it's ready for release.
^ Cash withdrawals, cash deposits and cheque deposits with a Business Cash Card will be enabled at NatWest branches at a future date.
* To apply you must be a UK resident aged 18 or over and hold a business bank account in the same legal entity name with NatWest. Fees for withdrawals and deposits may apply, as per your existing business bank account tariff, however no additional charges will be levied for using this service. Subject to status, business use only. UK businesses only.
Completing your order
To place your order, please use our foreign currency cash order form.
- Orders must be received by 11am on a business day for us to process your request for next business day delivery
- We will not be able to progress your order until all authorised digital signatures have been received
- Charges will apply for all orders debiting either a business currency account or a sterling business account (unless otherwise agreed with your relationship manager)
Currency availability
Please be aware of the following:
- Some currencies may not be available to order due to world events
- Some currencies may not be available at the time of order because of stock limitations
- Some currency orders may require 24 hours notice
- Some denominations may require 24 hours notice

Pay in cash outside working hours
A Night Safe is a box that you’ll find next to our branches. You can use it to pay in to your account outside normal branch opening times. You’ll get a credit to your account the next working day.

Pay in and take cash out
You can pay in and take out money at the counter in our branches. From 2nd September 2024, you will need to have a pre-printed paying-in slip or debit card to deposit. This must be linked to the receiving business account to be accepted.
You can also pay in cash and cheques using our Cash & Deposit Machine (CDM) which you’ll find at some branches, as well as paying in cash at Cash Access UK deposit services (you'll need to bring your Chip & PIN card associated with your account).
Pay in coins
Use our Bulk Coin In machines to pay in large amounts of coins. You don’t need to count it as the machines do that for you. Once your cash has been counted you’ll get a voucher to pay in at the counter.

Manage foreign currency
If you’ve got a foreign currency account and you need to pay in or take out currency, you can have it collected or delivered straight to you, using our Direct Currency In service.

FAQs
Use our mobile branches
If you run your business in an area where we don’t have a branch, then a mobile branch is the bank that comes to you. They visit specific places on a timetabled route. You can do some of your usual business banking tasks, like paying in and taking out cash on board.
To be eligible for Tyl by NatWest your business must be based and trading in the UK, and you must be over 18. Eligibility criteria, fees and T&Cs apply.
