What is it?
Have you got brilliant ideas and a burning passion to grow your business? Yes? Then it sounds like you're ready to enter!
To enter, send us a 60-second video telling us how the funding will grow your business. Our judges will select 5 Finalists to attend our first live final in Manchester on the 31 July 2025.
At the live events, the Finalists will deliver their best 'Dragon's Den-style' pitches. The best three at each event will share in the £100k prize pot, with the overall winner scooping £70k for their business. So, what are you waiting for?
Who can enter?
You’ll need to be:
- a registered limited company
- registered in the UK
- generating up to £1m revenue
- a business that started trading between 1 January 2019 and 1 January 2024
- 18 or over and a UK resident (as a business owner)
You don’t have to be a NatWest customer.
You must not be an employee of NatWest Group of companies, their families or anyone associated with this competition.

The prizes
The three winners of NatWest Accelerator Pitch at each live final will walk away with…
- 1st place - £70,000
- 2nd place - £20,000
- 3rd place - £10,000
Monetary prizes will be in the form of a grant, paid by BACS transfer, which will take between two-to-three working days to be received in the winners accounts.
This is subject to winners providing their full business account name, account number and sort code. Winners will have three months to spend the money. Following the payment, our grants monitoring officer will reach out on months three, six and twelve to check in on how the grant has impacted business.
What do I need to commit to?
Applicants successful in reaching the final pitches will need to:
- attend a live final pitch day
- respond in a timely manner to pre-event invites and communication
- feature in media activity including but not limited to, print, online and broadcast opportunities
- take part in video content creation including but not limited to, the day of the live finals and post event follow-ups
- respond in a timely manner to NatWest communication following the competition for future media activity
- understand that if you win, you may be required to take part in additional publicity surrounding the competition
- understand that if you win, you'll need to be available for a total of no more than 4 hours to PR and Marketing initiatives until the end of 2026. View the full terms and conditions.
How do I get involved?
You’ll need to fill in an online form on our Pitch microsite, along with sending us your 60-second video pitch. The form will ask for basic business details, plus an overview of the four areas below.
Entries open 27 March 2025 and the closing date for entries is 5pm, 25 May 2025.
