What is the difference between business and community accounts?

Our community account is available to social sector organisations such as clubs, societies, associations, churches and charities with turnover of less than £100,000, but it's not available to businesses, private individuals or companies limited by guarantee.

Community account holders can benefit from free deposits, free withdrawals and no service charge for the day-to-day running of the account whereas business account holders are liable for these charges.

Both community and business account holders will be charged for 'additional services' and 'unarranged borrowing'.
