Your Carbon Planner account will be set up and you will be sent an email address containing instructions on how to log in.

By signing up to the Carbon Planner, you are given account admin rights. You can invite as many people as you want to join your company account and share in your climate journey.

We want Carbon Planner to be shaped by the organisations that use it, so it truly helps them to reduce emissions and move forward in their climate journey. We have talked to over 1000 organisations throughout the design and build process, including conducting a small-scale pilot. We officially launched Carbon Planner in November 2022, so what you will interact with is the first release, which is continually tested and improved upon. We will continue asking for feedback, building this into future releases of the service.

Due to human activity, the world is warming up. We are already witnessing many impacts of climate change, such as rising sea level and extreme weather conditions. If we continue to produce carbon dioxide at the rate we do, more damage will be done to our planet and its inhabitants. We are in a state of climate emergency, and everyone has to do their bit to reduce their carbon footprint and slow this damage.

We use your industry and area of focus to calculate your industry average footprint and suggest relevant carbon-cutting actions.

We’ve worked with Green Element, an environmental management consultancy with over 20 years of experience, to ensure we are aligning with sustainable best practice. We have also worked with other third parties to develop the tool, including consultancies and academic experts. We’ve tapped into their knowledge to calculate an estimate of your organisation's carbon footprint and suggest tailored actions to reduce your emissions. In addition, our in-house team of climate experts and data scientists are working hard to continue to develop and improve the tool, making sure the insights generated stay relevant.
