Register for online banking with ease

Signatories can click ‘chat to us’ for business type information.

You could also discuss in advance with you someone in your company who knows your legal entity type.

If your business has changed, update it before signing up for Online Banking. A new account might be needed depending on your change.

You have to be a signatory on the bank mandate to fill out the form.

If your account mandate has signing rules, all necessary signatories must sign too.

If there are no rules, the highest authority needs to sign.

You’ll need their:

• Name
• Email address
• Mobile phone number

Check your signatories in the app by logging in, going to 'manage business details', and then 'mandates and third parties'. If you can't, contact us via Cora or phone and we'd be happy to help.

We recommend discussing your business account mandate signatories and signing rules in advance with someone in your company who has access to your mandate. Decide who should fill out the form before applying.

If the mandate needs updating with changes in your team, do that first before applying for Online Banking.

Write your signature in black pen on plain white paper.

Take a photo of your handwritten signature, making sure no other writing or markings are visible.

Make sure the image of your signature if clear and there are no shadows affecting the visibility of your writing.

Crop any excess background from your signature image. Ensure the image is horizontal, rectangular shape to fill the signature box.

We’ll need the details of the chairperson and the date of the board resolution, if your organisation is a:

• Limited Company
• Limited Liability Partnership
• Charitable Incorporated Organisation
• Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation

For each individual you want to give Online Banking access to as an additional authorised user, you’ll need to have these details:

• Name 
• Date of birth
• Email address 
• Address to receive card and reader and their last 3 years of address details
• Mobile phone number 
• Country of nationality
• Country of residence
• NatWest personal account details if they have one (having the correct sort code and account number will help us add new authorised users)

Getting all the correct details will help us set additional authorised users first-time and will ensure they receive their credentials and communications properly.
