Be part of the Fintech Growth Programme

What's the programme?

We believe that collaborating with fintechs will help to create better experiences for our customers. Our Fintech Growth Programme is an opportunity for fintechs to explore the potential for a partnership with NatWest.

We're looking for five ambitious fintechs to work together towards a real-life goal, which could help you scale within financial services.

Delivered by the NatWest innovation team, you'll build relationships with senior decision makers, access a bespoke learning curriculum and be supported by a coach who has built and exited a company.

You'll currently be looking to solve one or more of these problem statements

How do we:

  • help customers at risk of vulnerability safely manage their everyday spending?
  • proactively protect our customers and their payments?
  • improve customers' lives and give them a better experience making payments?

Who’s it for?

The programme is specifically for revenue-generating fintech start-ups with a product in the market. You should be looking for funding to scale within the next 12 months. Keep reading if that's you.
 

What you need:

  • to be UK-based fintech
  • a product or service customers are already using
  • plans to raise Series A funding within the next 12 months.

 

It’s also good if you can show:

  • an active user base
  • revenue (showing monetisation of the product)
  • successful raising of initial funding (like seed funding).

 

You'll also need:

  • a track record of working with enterprise clients (but that’s not essential if you can demonstrate your potential).

A 10-week course, delivered by the Natwest innovation team and supported by our partners, Aspire.

Aspire provides professional training to start-ups, corporates, universities and other organisations looking to become more agile, innovative and growth-oriented. You'll cover:

Growth planning

Begin by assessing your current position and defining your future goals, while mapping out a clear, actionable plan to achieve them.

Sales funnel

Review and refine your sales strategy to convert leads into loyal customers, supported by a structured approach for customer retention to deliver the growth you’ve mapped out in your first sprint.

Investor readiness

Assess how much you're looking to raise, from what type of investors, and gain insights into attracting and managing investors, preparing you to handle investor relations effectively.

Leadership

Conclude with a deep dive into your leadership style, focusing on what’s needed to guide your business towards its goals and manage key stakeholder relationships, including your team, clients, and investors.

Join the programme

Your application will start with a survey that takes around 15-20 minutes to complete. As part of your application, we'll ask you to upload a short video introducing your company, so bear this in mind before starting.
