2020 marked 20 years of Social and Community Capital. To celebrate we decided to do something special. Organisations looking to deliver innovative community projects were invited to apply for grants of £20,000.
Midlands & East
Provides advice and community services accessible to all including Advice Service, Volunteer Driver Service, Community Connect and Gamble Aware.
South West
Partners with churches and community organisations to run projects in Dorset to help people in crisis - rough sleepers, lone parents, those struggling with addiction, school leavers and those in immediate food crisis or in debt/financial confusion.
Northern Ireland
Addresses educational underachievement in primary schools in disadvantaged areas of Belfast, most severely impacted by 30 years of the Troubles, through school attendance schemes and a digital learning hub.
London & South East
Provides the right support at the right time to all families who are affected by parental mental illness to break the cycle of mental illness in families.
Provides training, therapy, volunteering and employment opportunities to adults with physical and learning difficulties, based around horticultural activities.
Scotland
Provides support and learning opportunities to young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism through tailored support services, creative workshops, educational activities and vocational programmes.
Wales
Connects communities and marginalised groups in deprived areas in North Wales to nature through hands-on activities, training, work placements and volunteering opportunities.
