To apply for this account you must be 18+, a temporary UK resident and hold either an in date Biometric Residence Permit, Ukrainian international passport or Ukrainian national ID card (see below for details).

Before you apply

Email address

Having an email address set up in your name is helpful. We’ll be able to keep you up-to-date and send you your statements when they’re ready to view online. You’ll also be able to set up email alerts on your account.

Having a valid mobile number is helpful. You’ll be able to use the mobile app or get full access to Online Banking. You’ll also be able to set up text alerts or push notifications on your account.

How to apply for your account

Step 1

Complete some checks before you apply. Then download the application form and print it off.

Step 2

Complete the application form. This can be done on behalf of the applicant, but you must complete one form per applicant.

Step 3

Bring the form into your nearest branch, along with a valid form of ID (Biometric Residence Permit, Ukrainian Passport or Ukrainian National ID card).

Need extra support with your application?

If you need help with completing the application form or if you're unable to print it at home, simply bring your documents to your local branch. Our staff will be happy to help you through the application process, including printing the form for you if needed.

Don't worry if you do not speak English, we have an interpreter service for both Ukrainian and Russian available in our branches.  Use the below link to find your nearest branch, and don't forget to bring in the we need when visiting.

Before you apply for a bank account with us, please make sure you've read the important information below.

First things first. You can apply if you:

  • Are 18 or over and a temporary UK resident
  • Have  to prove I.D and right to reside in the UK

If applying online today, you must also have an email address we can reach you on. Remember if you are unable to set up an email address, you can go apply in branch without one.

Need additional support with your banking?

Banking My Way is a free service that allows you to record information about the support or adjustments you need to make banking easier. You can also let us know any additional support you may need to ensure all of our colleagues are aware of this. The information will be shared on our internal systems and therefore you will not need to repeat these requirements every time you interact with us.

Once your account is open, you can record this through Online Banking or with our colleagues in branches or over the phone.
