Our investment fees and charges

How much does it cost to invest with us?

We keep costs low and transparent so you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for and when.

The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and you may not get back the full amount you invest. Eligibility criteria, fees and charges apply.

Your fees will be 0.55% of your investment or less

Information Message

There are also costs for buying and selling within your investment - these are called transaction costs. Based on actual past costs, the highest costs for any of the available funds will be 0.07% of the value of the fund each year. These costs will be taken directly from the fund.

Platform fee

The maximum you’ll pay is 0.15%. That’s 15p for every £100 of your investments.

This covers the cost of admin and online access to your NatWest Invest account.

We take this payment at the end of every quarter (that’s March, June, September and December).

We tier the platform fee

The platform fee varies depending on how much you invest.

  1. If you invest up to £1m, you’ll pay 0.15%.
  2. Anything above £1m up to £5m you pay 0.10%.
  3. Anything over £5m you pay our minimum platform fee of 0.05%.

We keep our fund fee low

Low fees means you keep more of what your investment makes.

  • 0.30% is for the management of the fund.
  • 0.10% or less is for the underlying investments’ fees. Our funds invest in a spread of different funds – also known as a fund of funds. Those funds have fees that we pay. If those fees are less than 0.10% then your fees will be lower. If those fees are higher than 0.10%, then you will not pay anything more.
