What's included in my NatWest mobile phone insurance?

You could protect your smartphone against damage, loss, breakdown or theft if you're a Silver, Platinum or Black account customer. We understand your smartphone is a big part of your life, that's why NatWest mobile phone insurance will:

  • Cover repairs or replacement parts for damage or if something goes wrong (once your manufacturer’s warranty has expired).
  • Provide you with a replacement phone if yours is lost or stolen, so you’re not out of pocket.

How to make a mobile phone insurance claim

Making a mobile phone insurance claim with NatWest is simple. We know it can be stressful when something happens to your phone, so we want to make the process as easy as possible. Simply:

  • Log in to register a claim online, or call us to speak to an agent. We’ll run through a few details and ask you some questions.
  • Contact us to report the incident. Claims should be reported as soon as possible when theft, loss, damage or breakdown is discovered.
  • Let your network provider know about the situation and report the incident to the police if relevant. They’ll give you a crime reference number if your phone has been stolen.
  • Arrange for collection of your device if it needs to be repaired. Remember, you have to be in the UK for us to collect your phone.

We’ll work to get your phone repaired or arrange for a replacement as soon as possible.

What happens when I make a claim?

We'll try to fix your mobile phone

If your device is repairable, we come to your home or workplace in our manufacturer approved mobile laboratories and aim to fix your phone in less than an hour.

You can bring your mobile to one of over 120 manufacturer accredited stores for repair (geographic restrictions apply). Book an appointment through Membership Services and be offered a same-day appointment in most cases.

Silver account customers also have a mail-in repair option.

We will send you a manufacturer approved replacement device - if your claim is accepted by 8pm it will arrive the next day (95% of devices).
