How can a Power of Attorney (POA) be removed from an account?
If you are an Attorney, you can remove yourself from an account at any time by sending us a signed letter detailing your request.
If you are a Donor, and are still able to manage your affairs, you can request the removal of an Attorney from your account by following the same process.

Alternatively, you can hand your signed letter into a branch.
We will remove the POA from the account upon receipt of the signed request. If your POA document is registered with the Office of Public Guardian (OPG) it will however remain valid and could still be used by the Attorney, so to prevent this, we recommend that you contact the OPG to have this revoked.
