Can I recall a direct debit?
If a direct debit has been claimed from your account, you are able to recall it the same day by contacting us before 8.30pm (UK time).
If it is after 8.30pm (UK time) or the funds have left your account on a previous working day, then you will need to claim a Direct Debit Indemnity.
In order for us to help you as quickly as possible, we need you to log in to your Online Banking or mobile app and chat to Cora. Please see the steps below:
Online Banking - Log into Online Banking. From your home screen, click 'Chat to Cora' and type 'direct debit indemnity'
Mobile app - Go to the home screen of your mobile banking app. Tap 'Help' at the bottom of the screen, then 'Chat to Cora' to start a chat and type 'direct debit indemnity'
