What are the mobile app payment limits?

Payments

If you have not registered for face biometrics these are the limits.

You can make payments of up to £20,000.00 a day for Personal, and £50,000.00 for Premier customers, to anyone from your list of payees, if you have their details saved within Online Banking.

Using the 'Pay someone new' option you can enter the account number and sort code to make a payment. These payee details will not be saved automatically (you may be given the option to save the payee).

Using the pay some new option for an International payment you will need the IBAN and BIC/SWIFT code details of the person you want to pay.

In this way you can:

  • Make a payment of up to £750 a day to an account number and sort code. You can make up to 5 smaller payments in a working day, although the sum of all such payments cannot exceed £750

These limits are fixed and cannot be changed by request.

One off international payment to a new payee limit of £750 a day (the sum of payments includes low value Domestic payments made via the app).

If you have registered for face biometrics there are the limits

  • You can make payments using 'Pay someone new' or pay an existing payee up to £20,000.00 for Personal customers or £50,000.00 for Premier customers.

Using 'Pay someone new' option the payee details will be automatically saved.

Standing Orders

Pay Your Contacts

Pay Your Contacts lets you send a maximum payment of £250 in a working day to a mobile number.

Get Cash

Get Cash allows you a maximum withdrawal limit of £130 every 24 hours and this must be within the daily withdrawal limit for your debit card. There is a maximum limit of 2 Get Cash withdrawals every 24 hours. You must have at least £10 available funds to withdraw from your account (including any overdraft facility).

International Payments

Personal customers can send up to £10,000 each day.
Business customers can send up to £20,000 each day.
