Thomas Cook has stopped trading, what do I do?

Thomas Cook ceased trading on 23rd September 2019 and have now entered liquidation.

If you booked travel with Thomas Cook please follow the guidance below;

  • If you’re currently on holiday please go to the CAA website(opens in a new window) for information on your new return flight.
  • If you booked your holiday through NatWest membership services and are due to travel in the next 2 weeks, please contact our Travel Services team on the numbers below. If you are not due to travel in the next 2 weeks the team will be in touch shortly.
    • NatWest Platinum: 0345 609 0453 (option 1, option 2, option 2)
    • NatWest Black: 0345 601 7188 (option 1, option 3, option 2)
  • If you have booked via a travel agent/3rd party or paid via PayPal- please contact the company for further advice
  • If you have booked direct with Thomas Cook and have ATOL protection - please contact 01753 330330 or 0300 3032800 for further advice
  • If you have paid by Direct Debit - please refer to the CAA website(opens in a new window) for the most upto date information
  • If you have no ATOL protection and paid with one of our credit/debit cards – you can register your claim here(opens in a new window)

Be alert to suspicious approaches from anyone claiming to be from the bank or Thomas Cook, either over the phone or via text or e-mail. Trusted organisations will NEVER ask you for your full PIN or password, card reader codes, or ask you to move money from your account.
