How do I get a certificate of Interest for my account?
Personal current accounts
You can view a certificate of interest for your accounts through Online Banking or in the Mobile app.
Your certificate of interest is available to view from the 5th April each year, after you have had a statement generated.
Viewing a certificate of interest in the Mobile app
- Log into your mobile app
- Select the account you need
- Scroll down and select 'Documents'
- Select a certificate of interest from the last 7 years
From here you can also choose to view this certificate of interest as a PDF, share it, save it or print it from your mobile.
Viewing a certificate of interest online
- Log in to www.onlinebanking.natwest.com (opens in a new window) and select 'Statements & transactions' from the main menu
- Within the 'Your statements' section, select 'Certificates of interest'
- Your available certificate of interest documents will be shown on screen for the highlighted account
- You can choose a different account if you have more than one
- Select the relevant certificate of interest cycle link displayed on the screen and it will download as a PDF as per your browser settings
If you require a paper copy then you can print a copy once downloaded.

If you don't have access to Online Banking
You can order a certificate of interest using our digital Order Certificate of Interest form (opens in a new window).
The form will ask you for the email addresses of the people with signing permissions on the account.
We'll then email your signatories and ask them to authorise the request by uploading an image of their signature.
