The maximum amount in cash that you can pay into your account at a Post Office® or Cash & Deposit Machine (CDM) is:

  • £3,000 per day
  • £24,000 in a rolling 12-month period

Cash that you deposit at our branches also counts towards these daily and annual limits.

The maximum amount of cash that you can pay into your account at our branch counter is:

  • £50,000 in a rolling 12-month period.

Yes. When we convert foreign currency to UK Sterling in our branches, we deposit the Sterling cash value into your account. We’ll count this towards your remaining limits in Post Office®, Cash & Deposit Machines and branch counters.
