Is there a limit for payments made using a contactless card?

The maximum amount that can be spent in a single contactless payment is £100*. If you wish to make purchases of a higher amount, you can still make a chip & PIN transaction.

For security, occasionally you’ll need to enter your PIN when presenting your card using contactless - to prove it’s really you. Simply use Chip and PIN as normal.
