Will the cancellation of an online transfer take effect immediately?
Yes, you can amend or cancel a scheduled transfer up to 6.30pm (UK time) on the working day before the transfer is due to leave your account.
To cancel a transfer online:
- Log in to Online Banking at www.onlinebanking.natwest.com (opens in a new window)
- Select 'Payments and transfers' from the main menu
- From the 'Make a payment or transfer' section select 'Manage scheduled payments'
- Select the appropriate transfer from your list of current Scheduled payments and transfers, then follow the instructions on screen
Step 2 of the cancel scheduled transfer process contains confirmation that the transfer has been cancelled.
